NICORETTE® Lozenge allows you to actively control how much nicotine you use and when you use it discreetly. It is available in two different strengths:

Low strength 2 mg Lozenge: Suitable for those who smoke their first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up.

High strength 4mg Lozenge: Suitable for those who smoke their first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking up.

It's important to choose the correct strength to suit your individual smoking pattern.

NICORETTE® Lozenge flavours

NICORETTE® Lozenge is available in two flavours, Mint and Cherry.

How does it work?

When you slowly dissolve a NICORETTE® Lozenge in your mouth, it releases controlled amounts of nicotine into your body to help you deal with cravings and withdrawal symptoms. When you use the NICORETTE® Lozenge correctly, you can double your chances of stopping smoking successfully vs willpower alone.

How do I use the NICORETTE® Lozenge

One lozenge should be placed in the mouth and allowed to dissolve. Move the lozenge occasionally from one side of the mouth to the other, and repeat, until the lozenge is completely dissolved (approximately 20-30 minutes).

The lozenge should not be chewed or swallowed whole. Don’t eat or drink while the lozenge is in your mouth.

How many Lozenges do I need?

It is recommended that you take NICORETTE® Lozenges for 12 weeks.

  1. Weeks 1-6: 1 lozenge every one to two hours (minimum 8 lozenges)
  2. Weeks 7-9:1 lozenge every two to four hours
  3. Weeks 10-12: 1 lozenge every four to eight hours

To help stay smoke free over the next 12 weeks: use 1-2 lozenges per day only on occasions when strongly tempted to smoke.

Lozenges should not be used for more than 24 weeks (6 months).
